Community Rules and Regulations
NO EXCEPTIONS TO RULES & REGULATIONS AT ANY TIME!
THIS DOCUMENT IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE AT ANY TIME

Policy A: Respect
1. Any and all members (Recruit, Member, Staff, Administration, etc.) are required to show a level of respect towards other members of the community, at all times.
2. Slandering or “Talking down” about any member is prohibited. (e.g Cursing towards another member, starting rumors about another member, making fun of one’s sexual orientation, racial slurs, etc.)
3. Arguing verbally and/or via text chat is strictly prohibited. If an argument is started a member of staff is to be notified immediately. Do not attempt to settle the situation yourself.
4. Respect towards Staff Member(s) actions/decisions regarding any situation, is required at all times. If you feel you were treated unfairly do not argue with the Staff Member, submit an Internal Affairs Complaint Form.
5. Excessive cursing is not permitted.
6. Sexual Harassment (any unwelcome sexual advance or comments) is prohibited at all times.


Policy B: Abuse of Channels/Offices
1. Going AFK in any public channels (e.g lobbies) is prohibited.
2. Channels/Offices should not be used to exclude any members.
3. Lobbies are not to be used for 10-1s.
4. While two or more members are in a 10-1 channel (Patrol 10-1 Channels and 10-1 Lobbies), you are prohibited from joining the channel without permission from all other members in the channel. Only Staff+ may join a 10-1 without authorization, only for official staff duties.

Policy C: Songs/Music or other undesirable sounds
1. All Music/Media is prohibited in all public lobbies (e.g General Lobby, Relaxed Lobby, Lounged, etc.) With the exception of “Night Club.”
2. Undesirable sounds are prohibited in any public channel (e.g yelling, screaming, bodily noises, background noise, etc.)
3. Excessive whispering to any user is prohibited. With exceptions in patrol channels.

Policy E: Distribution/Selling of Materials
1. Distribution of any Pacific RP Community Documents or Files (even to other members of the community) is prohibited unless authorized by a member of Administration or above.
2. Distribution and/or selling of pornographic material, or any material containing nudity (including partial) and/or sexual reference is prohibited.
3. Distribution and/or selling any form of illegally obtained software and/or material is prohibited (e.g Pirated games, etc.)
4. Distribution of images that contain any type of slandering material is prohibited. (e.g Embarrassing pictures of a Member, etc.)
5. Selling of any items and/or material (including software) over the PacificRp Community Discord/TeamSpeak 3 is prohibited.

Policy F: Avatars
1. Avatars may not contain slandering and/or offensive images. (e.g Imposing religion, Imposing Sexual Orientation, etc.)
2. Avatars may not contain pornographic material, and/or material containing nudity (including partial)  and/or sexual reference.
3. Avatars may not contain personal images of other people without proper consent from that user.
4. Avatars may contain your own personal portrait, but no other body parts.

Policy H: Pacific RP Patrols
1. Push to talk is required in patrol lobbies at all times.
2. All members of PacificRP are required to have a working headset/microphone while in patrolling lobbies.
3. All RTO Channels must be respected.
4. Members must be in the perspective Patrol Channels while in the PRP Servers when patrolling.
5. Members must adhere to their respective department SOP’s and guidelines when patrolling (e.g structures, jurisdictions, etc.) Staff and above can discipline any rank reserve for in-game violations only. Out of game violations must follow the normal Chain of Command.
6. Members must be dedicated to patrols. Watching/playing other media is prohibited while patrolling.
7. All Patrol Servers should be treated as active patrols unless otherwise noted by Administration. Testing while in server does not exclude you from departmental policies and regulations,
8. No other trainers should be used in game other than the PRP approved trainers unless approved by Head Administration.
9. When Staff+ gives the command to spread out, the command must be followed within a reasonable amount of time (3-5 minutes), excluding Civilian Operations.

Policy I: Respect Administration Teams & Their Decisions
1. Do not ask for promotions.
2. Do not question decisions made by the Administration Team.
3. Do not lie during any investigation (conducted by Staff,Administration, or Internal Affairs)
4. Do not disrespect the Administration Team in any way.
5. Head Administration is the highest level of staff, as such, their decisions are final.
6. You must aid Administration and/or Internal Affairs in any investigation when requested.

Policy J: Chain of Command (CoC)
1. Do not skip ranks, even if the next ranking member can solve the problem.

Policy K: Other Communities & Servers
1. Members are allowed to be involved with any other Grand Theft Auto V Role-Play Community/Clan. However there are some stipulations in place.
2. All members are allowed to connect to their own private server as long as they are the only ones connecting.
3. Blacklisted communities are excluded from the double clanning policy.
4. All members (including Staff+) are allowed to play on a public FiveM server without filling out the double clanning form as long as they are a completely unwhitelisted server and don’t require any type of registration to play.
5. Current Members who wish to join other communities will be required to submit a short notice to their chain of command declaring their intentions.
6. Applicants seeking to join PacificRP that are currently a member of another community will be required to declare their membership in their application. If they are “Staff” members or administrators wish to join a second community, will be required to rescind their 7. ranks in PacificRP and to return to a “Member” status effective immediately.
8. Current and Future members that hold the ranks of “Staff in Training” or higher will be restricted from joining other communities at any time. If current staff in training members, staff members, or administrators wish to join a second community, they will be required to rescind their ranks in PacificRP, and return to a “member” status effective immediately.

Policy L: PacificRP Media Assets
1. Recording/Streaming of any PacificRP content or assets to any website or online is strictly prohibited unless they are a member of the approved PacificRP Media Team.
2. English must be spoken on all official PacificRP assets (Roleplay scenarios may be exempt)
3. PacificRP is not responsible for any communication held on any 3rd party applications. (e.g KIK, Snapchat, Discord, {Excluding main PacificRP server or department servers} Tinder, Grindr, WazzZup, etc. [exclusions include: threats or extreme disrespect towards a PacificRP member or asset.]
4. Use of any PacificRP Asset for personal gain or benefit of non authorized individuals and/or organizations is strictly prohibited.
5. Inappropriate, offensive, harmful TeamSpeak or Discord disconnect/away messages are strictly prohibited.
6. Coming onto PacificRP’s TeamSpeak or Discord while under the influence of alcohol or narcotics is strictly prohibited.
7. All PacificRp Official Discord’s are to be owned by a member of administration or Head Administration.

Policy M: Privacy & Security
1. Any personal information shared (e.g sexual orientation, lifestyle, race, financial status, addresses, etc) is at each members own risk. The PacificRP can not and will not be responsible for any information released.
2. It is recommended for all members under the age of 18 years old to have their parents/guardian permission prior to joining any RP (Role Play) community.
3. Recording in TeamSpeak or DiscordChannel must be approved by the Administration.
4. You are the sole owner of your account, You are responsible for any use of your account or its assets on any PacificRP platform by anyone other than yourself. Use of your account on any PacificRP Asset by anyone other than yourself is strictly prohibited.
5. Users are limited to only one account of PacificRP assets such as Forums, Discords, TeamSpeak, etc. (Exclusions can be made for TeamSpeak Management, Website Development, and the Development Department for testing purposes only.)

Policy N: Miscellaneous
1. Rank is considered a privilege; abuse of rank will result in demotion.
3. Forming a group or “clique” within the community is prohibited.
4. In order to join a sub-division within your primary department, you must first achieve the rank of Police Officer I, Trooper, Deputy I, Firefighter I or higher.
5. Members should not be making any purchases for the PacificRP without prior consent of Head Administration and the Community Coordinator.
6. The use of PacficRP or its assets to promote any political party or agenda, or demean any political party or agenda, is prohibited and will be determined by the staff member handling whether it falls under this rule.
7. If you resign or are removed from the community you must wait a minimum of 30 days to re-apply unless exempted by Head Administration.
8. Falsifying or Forging information is forbidden on any PacificRP Documents including Applications to the Community or PacificRP Department forms.
9. At no point should you use the name if any other member or administrator.
10. Any projects created for PacificRP community (e.g scripts, plugins. Documents, etc.) must have ownership transferred over the community/Head Administration.
11. You must wait a minimum of 30 days in your current department before requesting a transfer.

Policy O: Inactivity
1. If a member is to become inactive from the PacificRP for more than 7 days a LOA (Leave of Absence) post must be made by the member on the PacificRP Discord form.
3. LOA’s are allowed for up to 30 days. If a member requires a longer LOA, they must get Administration's approval. {The longest Administration is allowed to grant is 3 months, if 3 months have passed and there is still no activity the member must then reapply.}
4. An LOA is a community wide leave of absence. A person may not take a LOA in a specific department, while not being absent from another department/reserve.


Punishment of Policy Violations
1. The staff and Administration of the PacificRP Community have the right to discipline any member for any violations of any of the above policies. All punishments depend on the severity and occurrence. General disciplinary actions may include but are not limited to:
Warning (10-90)
24 Hour Patrol Suspension (10-93)
Removal of privileges (sub-divisions, reserve departments, FTO, media, offices, etc.)
Promotional hold.
Case filed with Internal Affairs
Termination of membership

Disciplinary actions (this piece is directed towards Staff+)
1. Any disciplinary action issued by a member of the staff team or higher must have all conversations occur in a private lobby.
2. All disciplinary actions must remain between the staff of PacificRP and the receiving party.
3. All members of the PacificRP staff team or higher must ensure all media members have all captured software muted or turned off before issuing disciplinary action.

Any termination has the ability to be appealed. If you are looking to appeal a termination from the community you should use the correct forms which will be administered by staff at time of removal
